Apple has sued Samsung Galaxy saying that it is a copy of the Iphone and Ipad. The reason that Apple is watching Samsung very carefully is because right now Samsung is Iphone's main competitor, and if Apple can't stop them it could find themself in a situation. The lawsuit filed says that Samsung has violated Apple's patents and trademarks. Samsung has made the Galaxy to look and work exactly like Apple products. It's a shock because just last year Apple brought in around $6.2 million of sales to Samsung in 2010 mainly by purchasing semi conductors and now they are suing them. To compete with Apple Samsung came out with a tablet February 2nd copying the iPad 2. I think that this is surprising because Apple has been such a good customer to Samsung as it says they brought in $6.2 million of sales to Samsung and then Samsung goes and copies them. this is kind of bad on Samsung's part because now I don't see Apple help to bring in customers for Samsung which will cause Samsung not only to lose money from getting sued but also because Apple is not going to help them get sales. All in all this is a really bad move by Samsung.
