Once again alcohol has been served to a toddler at a restaurant in the United States. Sangria was served to a 2 year old, it contained white wine, in Lakeland, Fla. The mother of the kid started to become worried when the 2 year old started to act out and even when she told him to stop he didn't. Then the waiter and manager told her that instead of giving the kid orange juice they gave him alcohol by mistake. Right away Van Heest parent of the child rushed him to the hospital. The Olive Garden takes full responsibility for the mistake. Van Heest wants to sue.
I think that this is really bad because giving a child alcohol can really harm a child of that age. Restaurant's have to start being careful in what they are serving to people. They have to be careful also because they can get sued for a very large amount and it could also make the restaurant lose their reputation. This is a concern for both the restaurant and the people.
